Notice is hereby given that the Boone County Regional Sewer District will conduct a public hearing in compliance with Chapter 250.233 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri to consider a proposed 2.5% increase to sanitary sewer rates. The proposed rates are: $29.06 base service fee, $8.93 per 1,000 gallons of water usage fee; Rate B- STEP system $18.86 surcharge; Rate D- SDVG $9.14 surcharge; Rate E- STEP system $21.17 surcharge; Rate F- Grinder pump $23.06 surcharge. The new rates are proposed to be effective July 1st , 2025. This rate is recommended by a User Rate Study and the Board of Trustees based upon the estimated cost to keep up with on-going operation and maintenance expenses, provide adequate debt service coverage for existing loans, and to provide capital to rehabilitate/replace infrastructure.
